Two Years

It has almost been two years since Emma has graced us with her presence. I can not believe how fast time has flown. Two years ago, I had this big round belly, kicking and flopping inside. I could not wait to meet her. I had no clue what was lying ahead for me, lol. In the last two years I have gone thru things with Emma I did not think were possible. She was the most clingy, crabby baby, refusing pumped breastmilk in a bottle. Didn't sleep thru the night until after 18 months. Cronic ear infections, colds, and a horrible teether. Co Slept with us, which put Adam and I at ends for awhile about it. Then she went from booby baby to booby obsessed toddler, lol. I really wanted to child lead wean but after awhile I began to believe she was not going to wean, she nursed A LOT. So, I weaned her. It was hard for us both. But now, 2 months later, she is doing great.
Out of all the adventures she has put me through, it has been a great two years.... tiring, but great. Emma has completed our family and is the perfect fit. She has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger, her sister cleaning up her own toys more often, her brother a big softy for her, and me... well, she is my baby and always will be... and I KNOW she knows it :)
As we are on countdown mode for Emma's second birthday, it makes me sad, makes me yern for another baby. Not like I don't have my hand full already, ha. Hubby, 3 kids, 1 dog, 3 hamsters, and... babysitting. No matter how much a baby crave it won't happen, maybe another puppy, but no kids.
