Belated... Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone had a fun, safe Holiday. We went to the Waukegan Independence Day parade last Sunday. Last night we went downtown Waukegan and watched the fireworks from the harbor. It was Emma's first experience. She got excited "ooooh lights" but then clung to the back of Daddys shirt and hid, lol. It was cute. When I would pick her up and hold her, she points and shrieked with excitement but then clung tight and looked away again, lol. Not too bad.
Gurnee Days are just a few weeks away, and there fireworks that night too, so we shall she if she is more warm to them by then!!
Big kids had lots of fun, got to stay up past their bedtime, watch fireworks and eat lots of snacks :)
